Description: The currently issued Alabama ID is a plastic card with two barcodes and a magnetic strip on the back of the ID. The driver's license number is 7 or 8 digits unspaced and uncoded. Usually begins with a 1 in most cases.

Term: Expiration is 4 years from the original issue date with a 60 day grace period
